Common questions

What does the setup fee cover?
The £99 one-time setup fee covers configuring your branded document system: adding your logo, company details, address, VAT number, and default payment terms. We set it all up for you.
What is a document?
A document is either a Quote or an Invoice generated by the system. Each document is assigned a unique sequential number (e.g. Q-1001 or INV-1001), generated as a PDF, and emailed to you.
Where does the PDF go?
The completed PDF is emailed to your business email address. You can then forward it to your client. The document is also stored in your account for future reference.
Does it handle VAT?
Yes. You enter a VAT percentage per document (e.g. 20%). The system calculates the VAT amount and grand total automatically. Your VAT registration number is shown on every document.
How are documents numbered?
Quotes use the format Q-1001, Q-1002 and so on. Invoices use INV-1001, INV-1002. Each has its own sequence that never duplicates.
What is the Standard plan document limit?
The Standard plan includes up to 20 documents per calendar month. If you need more, upgrade to the Unlimited plan at any time.
Can I switch plans?
Yes. Contact us at any time to switch between Standard and Unlimited. There is no penalty for switching.
